Raffle Winners
The Eldorado Game Association is a 501(c) (4) non-profit organization made up of volunteers from the community of Eldorado, Texas. The organization was established 39 years ago and has been self-sufficient through the help of our ranchers, local businesses and other generous donors. Our annual Game Dinner, traditionally held each year on the first Saturday in November, is attended by over 1,200 individuals.
With proceeds from our 2024 event, the Game Association has supported 4-H and FFA clubs; Schleicher County Stock Show & Ewe Lamb Futurity Conest; SCISD for their FCCLA, Eldorado Eagle Boosters, Elementary Shannon Harbor Relays, Teacher Appreciation & Fall Festival; Eldorado Service Center for the Daily Bread Program; Meals for Friends; Eldorado Ministerial Alliance; Schleicher Co. Child Welfare Board; Eldorado Wesley Nurse Program; Team Jorge; Schleicher Co. Historical Society; Eldorado Beautification Committee; Schleicher Co. Wellness Center; Eldorado Divide SWCD; Eldorado Masonic Lodge; FUMC Eldorado for school backpacks; Eldorado VFD; Fort McKavett VFD; local Texas Ramp Project; 3SA for Veterans; Angel Tree Project; Eldorado Girls Softball, Eldorado Youth Baseball, Eldorado 7 on 7, and Eldorado Golf Club Hext Tournament. As a special project, we donated $7500 to the Schleicher Co. Public Library for new office furniture in their new facility. We also donated $2,500 for the inaugural Eldorado Young Life chapter for junior & senior high youth. We awarded $2,000 scholarships to seventeen 2025 SCISD Seniors, donated $2,000 to Project Graduation, as well as $50 gift cards to all 35 Seniors. We are proud to continue our contribution of $27,600 in support for the services of two county trappers in 2025. We will continue to sponsor the annual Big Buck Contest for Schleicher County hunters.
The prizes that bring people out to join us on the 1st Saturday of deer season are gift certificates, 100+ guns, high quality coolers, hunting accessories and other prizes for the outdoorsman. Please consider helping us give back to the community by sponsoring one of our prizes or making a donation to our organization. We appreciate any contribution that you can make.
Contributions or gifts to the Eldorado Game Association are not tax deductible as charitable contributions, but may be listed as advertising for your business or ranch.
Donor names will be publicized at the Game Dinner as well as on our website & Facebook page. Sponsorship levels are available as follows - Pope & Young Sponsors: $500-$900, Boone & Crockett Sponsors: $1000 & above. If you plan to participate at these levels, please return your contribution by October 1. Below are the winners of the annual Schleicher County Big Buck Contest. Due to the extreme drought conditions on ranches in the county this year, there were no entries during bow season. The Eldorado Game Association would like to thank Farris Taxidermy for hosting the annual contest and providing a shoulder mount to the winner of each category. Billy Farris checks in each animal entry and has done the scoring every year.
