Eldorado Game Association

About Us

The Eldorado Game Association is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers from the community of Eldorado, Texas. The organization was established 35 years ago and has been self-sufficient through the help of our ranchers, local businesses and other generous donors. Our annual Game Dinner traditionally held each year on the first Saturday in November is attended by over 1,300 individuals. We are pleased to announce that we are currently making plans to hold our normal event on November 6, 2021.

With proceeds from the modified 2020 event, the Game Association has donated almost $60,000 to 4-H and FFA clubs; SCISD for their FCCLA, Eldorado Eagle Boosters & Elementary Fall Festival; Daily Bread Program; Meals for Friends; Eldorado Ministerial Alliance; Schleicher Co. Child Welfare Board; Team Jorge; Eldorado Events; Eldorado Pride; Schleicher Co. Historical Society; Schleicher Co. Public Library, Schleicher Co. Wellness Center; Eldorado Divide SWCD; Eldorado Masonic Lodge; FUMC Eldorado for school backpacks; Fort McKavett VFD; local Texas Ramp Project; 3SA for Veterans; and SWTEC Ice Recovery meals. We were pleased to award $2,000 scholarships to ten 2021 SCISD Seniors. We were proud to continue our contribution of $13,800 toward funding for a county trapper, as well as sponsoring the annual Big Buck Contest for Schleicher County hunters.

The prizes that bring people out to join us on the 1st Saturday of hunting season are gift certificates, 80+ guns, high quality coolers, hunting accessories and hundreds of other prizes for the outdoorsman. Please consider helping us give back to the community by sponsoring one of our prizes or making a donation to our organization. For more information, please contact Game Association President, Rico Forlano at 325-853-3331 or reply by mail to Eldorado Game Association, PO Box 553, Eldorado, TX 76936. Please provide your email address, if possible, so that we can contact you with updates or requests for hunting leases in our area.

Donor names will be publicized at the Game Dinner as well as on our website & Facebook page. Sponsorship levels are available as follows - Pope &: Young Sponsors: $500-$900, Boone & Crockett Sponsors: $1000 & above. If you plan to participate at these levels, please return your contribution two weeks prior.

We appreciate any contribution that you make to help us spread the enjoyment of hunting, preserve the right to continue the use of the outdoors and what it has to offer, and assist us in our support of the community.
